Workflow Actions and Definitions

Workflows support various types of actions, and some actions are specific to their triggers!

  • Delay: Pause your workflow for a set amount of time before the next step runs — great for spacing out messages or actions.

  • Send Message: Automatically send a Threadly message to a channel or DM. Perfect for onboarding, reminders, or announcements.

  • Send Webhook: Trigger an external system by sending a custom HTTP request with your desired payload.

  • Send to Zapier: Kick off a connected Zap (Zapier automation) using this workflow as the trigger — ideal for integrating with tools like Google Sheets, Notion, or CRMs.

  • Add User to Conversation Group: Automatically add a user to a predefined Conversation Group in Threadly for future targeting.

  • Remove User from Conversation Group: Automatically remove a user from a Conversation Group — useful for segmenting users based on actions or time-based rules.

  • Add Threadly to Channel: Adds Threadly to a channel if it is not a member of it already.
