# Utilizing the Threadly Shortcut

Did your co-worker write an excellent post sharing news or an announcement and now you want to share it with your external channels? The Threadly shortcut allows you to take any message in Slack and save it as a draft for use in Threadly.

#### Navigate to the message sent in your Slack workspace

#### Open the message menu, via the three dots

Note: You might need to click *More message shortcuts* and then search Threadly
