# My Message Didn't Send

Troubleshoot a Threadly message, or part of one, that didn't go out: bot not in channel, channel not found, missing permissions, invalid buttons and workflow skips.

Start in **Analytics → View Analytics**. Open the message and check **Delivery** and any ❌ entries under channel details.

| What you see | What to do |
| ----------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Bot not in channel** | Add Threadly to the channel. See [Adding Threadly to Your Channels](/threadly/getting-started/adding-threadly-to-your-channels.md). |
| **Channel not found** | The channel was archived or deleted, or it's a private channel Threadly was never invited to. |
| **Slack API error** | Slack rejected the post. The error is shown. Contact support if it isn't clear. |
| **Some channels didn't get a message you sent as yourself** | You weren't a member of those channels. Join them, or send with a [custom profile](/threadly/profiles/overview.md). |
| **A button is missing** | Its URL was invalid, so it was dropped. The preview warns about this before sending. |
| **The image is missing** | Slack couldn't load the image link. Use a direct, public image URL. |
| **Still says scheduled** | It hasn't reached its send time yet. |
| **You can't send at all** | Threadly may need permissions. See [Updating Your App Permissions](/threadly/getting-started/updating-your-app-permissions.md). |

## Workflow messages

Open the workflow and click **View Logs**. A run may have been **skipped** (not an allowed day, cooldown, already received), or a step may show an error under **Step Details**. Also check that the workflow is active, not inactive or being edited, and that anyone it sends as has approved. See [Managing Workflows](/threadly/workflows/managing-workflows.md).

Still stuck? Email <support@trythreadly.com> with the Message ID (at the bottom of the message's analytics) or the Workflow ID (at the bottom of Workflow Settings).
