Learn which token is used for channels vs. DMs, how Profiles affect delivery, and what that means for replies. Depending on your destination, Threadly might leverage your **Bot Token** or your **User Token** to deliver the message. Learn more about the breakdown below.

If you use a User token, the message is sent from you, and responses will come to you. This is popular if you're sending a message as, for example, the "Support Team." As a result of this, Threadly requires the Bot Token.
